17th Festival - July 2010

One more fantastic event!
5 days full of music, experience, fun and new friendships! A unique atmosphere between musicians, teachers and students that help exchanging knowledge and information.

Great concerts full of people, valuable master classes, a competition with promising young talents and of course … a great guitar orchestra!!!.

All that in a blessed place, Hermoupolis of Syros island, a town that helps culture and music to grow!

We all renew our date for the next year festival, the 18th.

The winners of 7th guitar competition at 17th Hermoupolis guitar festival are:

A) Junior category (up to 14 years old)

1st Prize: Iasonas Nikolaou
(He also wins a guitar of 180 euros value from “Gaitanos” music store)
2nd Prize: Artemis Armakolas
3rd Prize: Stefanos Katapodis
3rd Prize: Eugenia Konstantinidi

(B) Youth Category (from 14 to 17 years old)

1st Prize: Odisseas Papakiriakou
(He also wins a guitar of 180 euros value from “Andromidas” music store)
2nd Prize: Maria Xepapadaki
3rd Prize: Giorgos Karatarakis
Special award: Veronika Paterna

C) Senior Category (17 years old and above)

1st Prize: Antonios Liopiris
(He also wins a guitar of 350 euros value from “Papagrigoriou- Nakas” music store)
